About Us

The Canon Vixia experiments is a place I created to catalog my learning process using an HD camera available for under a thousand dollars. I interview and research best practices for shooting, producing and outputting the highest quality product and explore whether or not the Canon Vixia cameras are capable of turning out cinema and broadcast quality content, and how to achieve results of the highest standard.

I also like to use Sony Vegas and will share some tips on using this excellent NLE.

Finally, I will occasionally discuss the workflow for creating a project and also getting it out to appropriate markets.
