Hey I missed out on the hv20 but caught the vixia 30 the camcorder is the truth high def Im just learning to edit im using imovie right now but also have final cut hd express being a musician also the camcorder and imovie gives me another vehicle to get full creations out from thought to finish the canon 20/30 is the bomb.Glad to read your post on shooting shorts,videos etc,thats were im headed
